I was in the mood to bake cookies yesterday but was missing a few ingredients, so instead I painted a small 5×7 watercolor expressing my desire to bake!

This is a 10×10″ watercolor on beautiful Arches paper. I’m not a 100% happy with the scan and will tweak it for prints! After the cut another shot of the painting taken with my point-and-shoot camera.

Here’s a shot of some works in progress! (yes, my desk is messy. Just the way I like it!) The largest girl I’ve started tonight, and my other girl, well, it took me a while to decide what I’d come up with for the background but I’m getting there. The cat’s done and is one of severals like it.
